KHAO SOK ELEPHANT SANCTUARY

 

Spend time with elephants in a forest setting near Khao Sok. Visitors can learn about the elephants, watch them as they move through the sanctuary and take part in activities such as preparing food and planting trees.

Elephant  Sanctuary Khao Sok Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary is a safe haven where our elephants are retired from work and live in the harmony of the rainforest. We have a few tour options available and look forward to welcoming you to our little piece of heaven in the beautiful area of Khao Sok. Our elephants live in the shade of palm trees with our own freshwater river flowing through the property where they can swim and drink.

 

The visit also offers a chance to learn more about the elephants and the work involved in caring for them. Depending on the program, visitors may help prepare food, plant trees or observe the elephants in their surroundings.

Price 2,500 THB per person

  • Meet the elephants and feed them bananas.

  • Watch a short video about elephant tourism and the importance of responsible elephant care.

  • Prepare food for the elephants at Wassana’s Kitchen.

  • Make a traditional Thai dessert using banana leaves.

  • Walk with the elephants, take photos and learn about their stories, diets and daily care.

  • Feed the elephants the food you prepared, such as rice balls or chopped fruit.

  • Enjoy a vegetarian lunch with beverages.
